DOILY APRON DRESS
'THREE BLACK SQUARES' SPRING/ SUMMER 2010

In addition to 'Beyond the Chintz', Eley Kishimoto presented 'Three Black Squares' (TBS) for Spring/ Summer 2010. TBS is an experimental project initiated by our desire to be creative without commercial restraints, to make full use of our in-house print and design studios, and is a tribute to our craft and print roots. These unique pieces capture the upmost spirit of Eley Kishimoto.

Cotton sun dress in multicolour 'Doily' print. The dress front is in a 3 colour print (red, black, dove blue) and the overskirt and dress back are in a 2 colour print (black and dove blue). The sleeveless dress has a flap attached to each side of the skirt which, when buttoned at the front, form an apron.

All printed fabrics have been hand crafted in our London studio. Any irregularities in the print or fabric are characteristic of the manufacturing process and are an integral part of the design.
